Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that all maintenance on the Wizz Air fleet in a dedicated region is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures and standards.
  • Monitor the technical status of the aircraft fleet on a day-to-day basis.
  • Coordinate defect rectification with Contracted Maintenance Provider and MCC.
  • Coordinate other maintenance-related functions with ground handling contractors (e.g., aircraft washing).
  • Assist in continuous process improvement to optimize communication and cooperation between LLM suppliers and Wizz Air departments.
  • Oversee hangar and store facilities.
  • Provide general engineering/technical advice to flight/cabin crew.
  • Oversee the update of the local technical library.
  • Assist in the coordination of down-route maintenance support.
  • Manage and monitor the contracted maintenance provider's performance in terms of contractual obligations.
  • Perform physical spot-checks on aircraft and maintenance providers.
  • Participate in technical seasonal flight schedule planning to ensure required technical aircraft downtimes are considered according to the maintenance contract.
  • Participate in invoice checking and cost control.
  • Train contracted maintenance provider's staff on Wizz Air's applicable procedures.
  • Manage ARC renewal and extension procedures.
  • Follow applicable requirements of the Safety Management System in accordance with Section 4 of OMM.
  • Issue statements for compliance with AD, SB, EO, Part-21 modifications, and repairs status.
  • Issue work orders for performance from the contracted maintenance organization and MRO.
  • Approve vendor invoices.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within a Part-145 or Part-M approved organization.
  • A320FAM type training (Level III).
  • Fuel Tank Safety Training Level 2.
  • EWIS training.
  • Human Factors training.
  • Thorough knowledge of Part-145 and Part-M regulations.
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods.
  • Thorough knowledge of the CAME.
  • Good knowledge of AMOS and MS Office tools.
  • Completed university/college degree.
  • Fluent English language knowledge.
